Kristen's Story

Kristen Spytek is hosting this fundraiser in memory of her daughter, Evelyn Grace, born with congenital CMV in March 2013. Evelyn passed away in December 2014 due to surgical complications; she inspired Kristen to co-found the National CMV Foundation to raise awareness and educate women of childbearing age about the risks of contracting CMV during pregnancy. The organization has grown considerably the past 8 years and is the leading advocacy organization in the United States dedicated to CMV prevention; Kristen continues to serve as Chairperson.
